Institutional Advancement

The Office of Institutional Advancement is the face of Margibi University. The Department of IA is charged with promoting the image and brand of the University, and encouraging friends-building, collaboration, and fundraising activities to advance the institution’s mission. Institutional Advancement is responsible for promoting a culture of philanthropy among its alumni, friends, donors, and organizations. IA helps to create a mission-support atmosphere to boost strategic directions and ensure institutional goals achievement. The department has oversight responsibility for the following areas:

•  Branding and Marketing

•  Publicity, Partnership, and Fundraising

•  Planning and Assessment

•  University Foundation

•  Government and Alumni Relations

Institutional Advancement is responsible for telling the Margibi University story, to enhance the institution’s traditions and promote a culture of academic excellence. The central role of Institutional Advancement is to generate sufficient positive energy surrounding the Institution that will create a better understanding of the vision and mission, to produce ongoing support from government, individuals and business and industry, to advance the University.
